At Kin Kin State School our small class sizes mean every child is known, valued, and supported to achieve their best. Teachers can give more one-on-one attention, adapt lessons to individual needs, and celebrate each child's progress.
We follow the Australian Curriculum, building strong foundations in literacy and numeracy while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. Multi-age classrooms create a family-like atmosphere where students learn from each other and build confidence in a supportive environment.
Our curriculum includes:
English - literacy, reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills
Mathematics - numeracy, problem-solving, and logical thinking
Science - hands-on experiments and inquiry-based learning
The Arts - visual art, music, and drama including instrumental lessons and school performances
Humanities & Social Sciences (HASS) - history, geography, and civics
Health & Physical Education - fitness, sport, and wellbeing with pathways to district and regional competitions
Technology - digital skills and design thinking
